Walter Cade Spratlin, Jr. 48 of Opelika passed away April 11, 2012. Memorial services will be held at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church in Little Texas, AL. on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend David Waldrop is officiating. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Debra Freeman Spratlin of Opelika; one daughter, Laura Cade Spratlin (Nathan Flurry) of Opelika; one son, Steven Freeman of Opelika; his mother, Melly Hanson of Hartsville, AL; his mother-in-law, Sandra Smith of Opelika; one brother, Roy Spratlin (Stacy). He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Cade Spratlin, Sr. of Notasulga; and Walter Joe Smith of Opelika. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, and will be missed by many. He was the owner and operator of Cade’s Custom Exhaust of Opelika, AL for five years. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially deer hunting and four wheeler riding.
