Mr. Carlos C. Manley, age 90 of Opelika, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Bethany House in Auburn. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Garden Hills Cemetery. The Pastors William Ruddell and Curt Capps will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home & Crematory from 9:30 til 10:30 A.M.
He is survived by his four sons: Mike(Elaine)Manley, Carlton(Judy)Manley, Gary(Mary Carol)Manley, all of Opelika, and Kenny(Nell)Manley of Dadeville, Alabama; (10) grandchildren And (15) great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Manley.
Mr. Manley had been a resident of Opelika for the past 68 years. He was retired from both Montgomery Fair and Gayfers Department Stores with over 40 years service. Mr. Manley was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict and was recipient of the Purple Heart medal.
