Colleen Love Prickett, 35, of Opelika passed away at her home Monday April 30, 2012. Funeral service is 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Church of the Harvest. Burial will be held at Watoola Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Opelika, AL. Colleen was born August 20, 1976 to Jennie Harris Lowery of Camp Hill, AL and Richard James Love of Dadeville, AL. She graduated from Beauregard High School 1994 and attended Southern Union. Colleen was full of life with an outgoing personality and huge caring heart. She worked in the medical field at EAMC, several doctor’s offices and last employed by East Alabama Ear, Nose and Throat working for Dr. William Blythe. She had a love for all her patients. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Bruce and Mary Nell Harris of Camp Hill, AL. Survivors include her husband Michael Prickett of 15 years and four children, Justice, Carly, Spencer, and Gavin Prickett; her mother, Jennie Harris Lowery (Jeff) of Opelika; father, Rick Love (Angela) of Dadeville; one sister, Crystal Jenkins of Opelika; brothers, Ricky Jenkins (Shelia) of Easley, SC; Josh Love (Megan) of Grant, AL, Kipp Love of Bellville, Michigan, Daniel and Nash Love of Dadeville; grandmother, Carol Love of Chino Hills, CA and James Love of Amarillo, TX; grandparents, Tom and Evelyn Lowery of Opelika; one aunt, Patricia Harris of Montgomery; uncles, Tommy Love (Martha Nell) of Alex City, Mike Love (Jill) of Los Angeles, CA, Billy Love (Sarah) of Pasadena, CA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev. Wayne and Deborah Prickett; and number of nieces and nephews.
