Steve Michael Carter, 61 of Jackson's Gap Al, passed away Friday March 23, 2012. He is proceeded in death by his father Wilton Carter and his brother Donny Carter. He is survived by his best friend Bobby Lindley, his mother Jewell Carter and brother Kenny Carter (Laurie). Visitation will be Sunday, March 25th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and the funeral will be Monday, March 26th at 10:00 am in the chapel at Jeffcoat-Trant. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Church of Christ Cemetery on Bay Pine Road in Jackson's Gap. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society
