Cassidy Gaia Meadows

Cassidy Gaia Meadows was born at home on July 12, 1998. She was welcomed into the world surrounded by people who loved her. She lived much of her life in Auburn, AL but also spent time in Georgia, Oregon and Tennessee, touching other lives while she was there. She was a great lover of and advocate for animals. She was an entering junior at Auburn University studying Psychology. Cassidy grew up in the Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and will be missed by everyone there in addition to many people in the homeschooling and Girl Scouts communities. Others who love and miss her are her mother, Julie Meadows; her dad, Conar Rochford; her brother, Jeblan (Phelan) Meadows; Brian Mixon; her grandmothers: Martha Huie (Abuelita), the late Madalyn Borin (M'mom), Jacque Mixon (Nana), Clara Mixon (MeMe), Lizard the Gizard and Katherine Huie; grandfathers: Ivan Boatwright (PawPaw), Walter Mixon (Poppy), Mike Rochford (Grandpa Mike), Bruce Borin, and the late Bobby Erhard (PawPaw Bobby); Her boyfriend, Dakota Bowen and his family Richard, Billie and Cheyenne; and her best friend, Sarah Byrd miss her and love her. Countless other friends, too many to name, will also love and miss her forever. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
