David "Bubba" Lynn Brown

Mr. Brown was born on July 10, 1967, to Martha Ann Weldon and John Hansel Brown in Montgomery, Alabama, he passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018, at his home in Salem, AL.

He was a long time resident of Lee County and worked more than thirty years as a boat mechanic. He also worked for Lee County as a truck driver for several years. He was an avid follower of Beauregard football and loved automotive racing.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his sisters: Margie Godwin, Emma Elijah and Carol Rainwater. He is survived by his wife: Leslie Soileau Brown of Salem; daughters: Brianne Brown, Leah Soileau and Tiffany Sharpe; sons: David Brown and Russell Soileau; a brother, Ben Brown of Salem; sisters: Linda Boddie McKee, Judy Avcoin, Dianne Goodman, Debbie Middleton and Susan Hall.

Services for Mr. Brown will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. A visitation will precede the service at 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dr. Rusty Sowell will officiate.
