Donna Caroline Willis McFarland

A memorial service for Donna Caroline Willis McFarland of Auburn, Alabama will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Auburn United Methodist Church Founders Chapel. Reverend Charles Cummings will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the church.
Donna Caroline Willis McFarland passed from this world on November 1, 2018. She was born at Eglin Air Force Base on May 16, 1973. She was the seventh child of William R. Willis and Emily Willis.
The Willis family moved to Crestview, Florida in 1974 where Donna attended elementary, middle and high school. Donna graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. degree in Microbiology.
She was married to John H. McFarland for 22 years with whom she had three children: Avery, Samuel and Ross. She was step mother to Robert McFarland (Rebecca and children Micah and Lireal) of Beltsville, Maryland, and Megan McFarland of Alexandria, Virginia
She is survived by six siblings: Michael Willis of Crestview, Florida; John Willis of Crestview, Florida; David Willis of Crestview, Florida; Joseph Willis of Lancaster, California; Matthew Willis of Orcas Island, Washington; Kathy Chapman of Guntown, Mississippi.
She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will also be held November 17, 2018 at 11 am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, in Crestview, Florida.
The Willis family is very fond of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers who were instrumental in our education of the Catholic faith.
