Glenda Havens

Glenda Havens died peacefully at her home in Auburn, Alabama surrounded by her family on April 11, 2018 at 11:30am.  She was born on September 21, 1952 in Enterprise, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her mother Peg (Lancaster) Babcock, father Lyle Babcock, and husband Christian Kirk. She attended Auburn University where she received a Masters Degree in Education. She was an elementary school teacher at Cary Woods School for 25 years. She lives on in the hearts of her daughters Lauren Macintire and Alison Havens, sister Charlza Babcock, stepson Matthew Lee, and son-in-law Michael Macintire. An informal memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 2:00pm in the field next to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 445 Shelton Mill Road, Auburn, Alabama. Guests are invited to dress in vibrant colors.
