Larry Marshall Jenkins

Larry Marshall Jenkins was born to Bessie Othell Thompson and Marshall Grady Jenkins on October 14, 1941 in Macon County, Alabama and passed away at his home in Opelika, Alabama on September 10, 2017.

Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his son, Gary P. Jenkins. He is survived by his wife, Linda Jenkins of Opelika, AL; sons: Michael L. Jenkins (Angie), Ronald W. Jenkins (Nicole), Donald R. Jenkins (Monique) and Arnold T. Jenkins; daughters: Tammy J. Burnette (Richie) and Cheryl Pike; brother, Roy E. Jenkins (Patricia); and sisters: Marilyn Smith, Alice Walker (Dickie), Joyce Moseley, Dorothy Hudmon (James), Becky Watkins (Ted) and Brenda Holt (Lamar). He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be Thursday, September 14, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service.
