Lila Kennedy Obituary

Lila Poplin Kennedy, age 89, passed away July 14, 2018. A long-time resident of Huntsville and member of First Baptist Church-Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter

L. Kennedy. She is survived by her son, Louis Kennedy (Paula), her daughter, Constance Kennedy Jemian (Bob); four grandchildren: Michele Kennedy Jackson (Chad), Michael Kennedy (Mary Louise), Laura Jemian Olds (Chris), Robert David Jemian; and great granddaughter, Hattie Elizabeth Kennedy.

Burial will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Huntsville Memory Gardens with a family graveside service followed by a memorial service for family and friends at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church- Huntsville chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial be a donation to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes.
