Linda Trammell Harris

Ms. Linda Trammell Harris of Atlanta, GA passed away Monday, December 4, 2017.  She was born on December 4, 1944 to parents, Bruce and Bettye Trammell.     

 Ms. Harris is survived by her sons:  Richard (Vanessa) Harris, III, and Sterling (Kerri) Harris; grandchildren: Holland, Catherine, Dakota, Daeton and Keelize; and brothers: Bruce (Nita) Trammell, Glenn (Miriam) Trammell and Brad (Kate) Trammell. 

Linda was born in Opelika and attended Opelika High School.  She graduated from Auburn University with a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.  After moving to Atlanta in the late 60’s, she practiced as a speech pathologist, working with the most difficult of patients – which clearly was her calling.   

Visitation will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home, Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Mike Newman will officiate.  Burial will be in Rosemere Cemetery following the service.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the charity of the contributor’s choice.
