Mable Motley

Mrs. Mable Motley, age 90, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alter and Mollie Belle Allen; husband, Frank Motley; sons, Bill Motley, Jerry Motley and Troyce Motley; daughter-in-law, Dottie Motley; grandson, Scott Brewer; and great-grandson, Christopher Motley.

Mrs. Motley is survived by her daughter, Judy Wilson (David) of Opelika; daughter-in-law, Jackie Motley of Dadeville; grandchildren, Jerry Motley (Helen) of Opelika, Jimmy Motley of Opelika, Jackie Yarbrough (JW) of Reeltown, David Wilson (Shanna) of Opelika, Toni Motley of Dadeville, Chris Brewer of Dadeville; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Motley was a long-time resident of Opelika and had retired from MNC Packing Corporation of Opelika with 21 years of service.  She was a member of Airview Baptist Church, Ladies AUX of EAMC and also a member of the Pepperell American Legion Ladies AUX # 0152 and the VFW Ladies AUX # 5404.   

Visitation will be held this Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel.  Reverend Johnny Hamby will be officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika.
