Miss Jessica Rachel Dean

A memorial service for Miss Jessica Rachel Dean, of Auburn, AL, is Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Highlands in Auburn. Burial is in Town Creek Cemetery. Pastor Brandon Isbell is officiating.

 Miss Jessica Rachel Dean, who died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Birmingham, AL, was born June 15, 1998, in Huntsville, AL. Miss Dean was a junior in social work at the University of Montevallo. She was a member of the Sigma Alpha Pi Honor Society and the Social Work Club at the University of Montevallo, and she had earned a black belt in taekwondo. Miss Dean had been active in 4H and had earned numerous awards. She was passionate about protecting at-risk children.

 Miss Dean is survived by her parents, Dr. Robert N. Dean and Kristin A. Dean, her sister and brother, Rebecca E. Dean and Thomas R. Dean, and her grandfather, William A. Anderson.
