Mr. Harold Travis Holsenback

Mr. Harold T. Holsenback, 88 of Auburn, passed away on July 5, 2019 at Oak Park in Auburn, AL. Mr. Holsenback was born July 2, 1931 to Claude and Rosa Holsenback in Bessemer, AL.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday, July 8, 2019 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home, burial will follow in Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery. Minister Matt Dabbs will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service beginning at 10:00am at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.

Mr. Holsenback is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Rosa Holsenback, siblings: Bill Holsenback, James Holsenback, and Lois Gilbert.

Mr. Holsenback is survived by his wife of 59 years Jimmie Townley Holsenback; son, Ken Holsenback (Lila) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren: Emily Holsenback of Birmingham, AL, Richie Holsenback of Nashville, TN, and Patrick Holsenback, of Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Holsenback was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years.  He retired from Uniroyal/Michelin after 31 years of service. He was an active member of Auburn Church of Christ. Mr. Holsenback was also very active in a variety of volunteer organizations, especially those supporting youth athletics. He was also the president of the A.U. Athletic Directors Club.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
