Mr. Jerry "Coach Hen" Hendricks

Mr. Jerry V. Hendricks, 57, of Auburn Alabama, joined his Heavenly Father May 17th, 2019 at Bethany House. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at 11:00 am at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home, officiated by Allen Ritchburg. Visitation will be held Monday, May 20th, 2019 between 6pm - 8pm at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home

Jerry was born on January 25th, 1962 in Chattanooga Tennessee. He is survived by his parents Joyce (Walker) and Jerry Hendricks Sr. Wife, Sherry Hendricks. Son, Joshua Hendricks. Daughter, Kirby (Allen) McCard. Nikki Sturdivan, Cody Sturdivan and grandson Cash McCard.

Jerry “Bug Man” was employed with Cooks Pest Control for 29 years, where his colleagues became his second family. Jerry’s passion was on the baseball field coaching, mentoring and inspiring players to share his love for the game. Jerry always enjoyed his time spent with his wife, family, especially his cherished grandson “Cashman”, and always cheering on the Auburn Tigers.

All who crossed paths with Jerry have been touched by his enthusiasm and excitement for life. Our beloved son, husband, father, coach and friend will be truly missed!
