Mrs. Antionette Frances Fabbrini

Our beloved Antoinette, “Toni”, Fabbrini, passed away on Saturday morning March 30, 2019 at the age of 86.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy Fabbrini Jr.; her sons John (Tammie) Fabbrini, Roy (Eve) Fabbrini III, Tom (Laura) Fabbrini and Robert (Rocio) Fabbrini, her 2 siblings and her 9 grandchildren.  Toni was the middle child of Erwin and Rose Strauch.  She was raised in Chicago, Illinois with older sister, Marie Strauch and younger brother, Conrad Strauch.

In 1979, Roy and Toni moved from Chicago, IL to Auburn, AL.  Toni became an active parishioner of Auburn’s Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Saint Vincent De Paul Society and founder of St. Michael’s “Prime-timers” senior organization.  Toni was a loyal Auburn Tigers fan, and volunteered with husband Roy to usher at Auburn University sporting events.  As a baker’s daughter, Toni was an excellent cook, and she proudly carried on her parents traditions of making homemade German coffee cakes every holiday season for her loved ones.  She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing with her husband and friends, but most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother to Georgia, Theresa, Katherine, Abigail, Mary, Caroline, Pablo, Frances, and Elián.  We are blessed to know that Toni is in heaven with her lord and savior, Jesus Christ, proudly watching over her family, as she always did.

A Visitation will be held at Jeffcoat Trant Funeral Home in Opelika, Alabama on Thursday April 4th from 4 pm-6:30 pm.
