Nelda Sue Pollard Harrold

Nelda Sue Pollard Harrold (Mimee), Age 72, of Dadeville, Alabama passed into her eternal life Thursday February 15, 2018 supported by family members after a fierce three and half year battle fighting a rare Bone Marrow Syndrome and breast cancer.

  A devoted Air Force career wife for 20 plus years, Mother, Bookstore Owner, and Nail Technician.  Sue was a 1963 graduate of Auburn High School.

She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Claude and Gladyce Pollard, Nephew Clay Copeland.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Harrold, two sons Randy (Janice) Harrold of Millbrook and Jeff Harrold of Vancouver, Washington; Seven Grandchildren, Holly Elizabeth Harrold, Aubrey Lee Harrold, Erin Sue Harrold, Autumn & Leif Wixon, Haley Krumm, Marty Krumm and two Great Granddaughters Jordan and Sadie McClure; Sister Judy (Vandy) Copeland of Auburn; nieces Maury (Kevin) Rusk and Melissa Copeland.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, February 19, 2018 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Opelika, AL. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the funeral hour at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Opelika, AL. Dr. Jeff Redmond will be officiating the service.

 A committal ceremony will be held in May.  The Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Montgomery Cancer Center, Montgomery, Alabama or to the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation, Bethesda, MD.
