Thomas Jason Gogue

Jason was born on April 19, 1974 in Gulfport, MS and spent his early years at College Station, TX, Washington DC, Atlanta, GA and Clemson, SC. He graduated from T.L. Hanna High School and four years later earned a BS degree in Industrial Management from Clemson University in 1996. Upon Graduation he worked for Owens Corning in the corporate offices in Toledo, OH and later in Kansas City, MO in their fiberglass production. While in Kansas City, he started an auction company for the sale of real estate.

In 2008, Jason moved to Auburn and completed a MBA at Auburn University, Montgomery (AUM) in 2009. He completed a Ph.D.  In Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn in 2014.

At the time of his death, Jason was teaching in the College of Business at AUM. His death was sudden from the complications of lymphoma.

He is survived by his son, Jack; his parents, Jay and Susie Gogue; siblings: Alison and Barrett; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A family graveside service will be held. In lieu flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the College of Business at Auburn University, Montgomery or to a college or university of your choice.
