Betty P. Hopson

Betty P. Hopson, 83 of Salem, passed away September 14, 2022 at EAMC. Mrs. Hopson was born December 3, 1938. Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home, with the visitation beginning at 9:00am prior to the service. Interment will be at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Mrs. Hopson is survived by her sons: Mike Hopson (Francy), Bud Hopson, Skip Hopson (Sara); sister, Sherrill Nolan (Gary); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Phillips Jacobs; father, Jewel Thomas “Jake” Jacobs; husband; Howard Hopson, and son, Patrick Hopson. She loved spending time at the catfish ponds and she wanted everyone she met to call her Granny.
