Bobbie Jean Kerby

Bobbie Jean Kerby, 85 of Opelika, passed away July 24, 2021. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Mrs. Kerby, who died Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Bethany House, was born February 22, 1936, in Slocomb, Alabama. She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star and also a part of the Retired State Teachers Association.

She was survived by her husband Melvin Kerby; children: Sonny Kerby (Carol), Sandra Smith (Stan), Cyndi Merijanian (John), Vicki Mangiafico (Candace); grandchildren: Jillian M. Manning, Jacob Kerby (Ginger), Luke Kerby (Sarah), Nicholas W. Merijanian, Molly Anne Hunsinger (Matthew), Jack K. Merijanian (Julia), Daniel P. Smith, Benjamin K. Smith (Kelly); great-grandchildren: Adam Mangiafico, Savannah Manning, McKenzie Kerby, Harrison Kerby, Sidney Kerby, Blake Kerby, Colt Hunsinger, Olivia Hunsinger, Kevin Wilkinson, Isabella Sanchez; sister-in-law Glenda Miller; numerous nieces and nephews.
