Chao-chi Ting

Chao-chi Ting, age 58, of Auburn, AL passed away December 27, 2020. He was born in Taipei, Taiwan on January 21, 1962 and grew up in the same town. He was the second of three children. He immigrated to America for graduate school in 1987 where he received his doctorate in 2000 from Auburn University.

Chao-chi was known by his family, friends, and colleagues for his positivity and patience in mentoring and teaching.

Chao-chi is survived by his wife of 30 years, Yeng-yeng Liou, his three children, Sharon Ting, Sarah Ting, and Jonathan Ting, and his two sisters, Chao-ping Ting and Chao-yu Ting both in Taiwan.

His funeral will be a graveside service at Town Creek Cemetery in Auburn on January 5, at 10:00am.  Due to the current pandemic, we ask all friends and family who wish to attend, please wear a mask for the health and benefit of all those present.
