Charles Christopher Carter

Charles Christopher Carter of Opelika passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026.

Charles was born on December 26, 1977 in Opelika, Alabama, to Stephen and Alice Carter.

Charles is survived by his children: Jacklyn Michelle Carter, Stephanie (Christian) Rivera, and Charles Austin Carter; his stepchildren, Kendrick Coleman and Bradon Coleman; and his siblings, Julianne Bartlett and Denise Pokorny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Alice Carter.

Charles loved his children and family dearly. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, and fishing. He dedicated more than 27 years of his life to working as a mechanic. He will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life for immediate family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Spring Villa Lodge, 1474 Lee Road 148, Opelika, AL 36804.
