David Seils was born on February 14, 1950 to the late Wallace and Verna Seils in Rochester New York. David was the youngest of 4 siblings. After graduating high school, he enlisted into the Army at the age of 18. A proud veteran David served his country for 34 years with distinction ranking Sergent First Class. David had many roles in the army he spent time in various bases state side during his service. He earned many medals and numerous awards.
He had a passion for playing pool and won many championships. After completing his military service he dedicated several years to civil services as a NURSE where he was admired for his kindness and strong work ethic.
On Sunday, January 19, 2025, David passed away peacefully at EAMC Opelika,AL.
David was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Gwen Hollander and JoAnn and his brother Ron Seils.
David leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and loving wife Shirley Seils of Opelika, Al, three children, Jennifer and Shannon Seils both of Columbus, Ga, Joshua, Austin, Tx, granddaughter, Trinity Seils, grandson, Jonah Seils both of Columbus, Ga.
