David Tabor Obituary

David Alan Tabor, 49 of Auburn, passed away November 12, 2022. David was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was a graduate of Auburn University and a former walk on kicker from 1992-1995. He was an active member of the Auburn Letterman Club and an usher at Church of the Highlands Auburn East Campus.

David is survived by his wife Joey; children: Robert and Kelsey; parents Lawrence Robert Tabor, Jr. and Ann Tabor; siblings: Jenny Berrong (Kyle), Lawrence Robert Tabor, III (Courtney), Kimberly Griffin and Dayton Tabor.

A memorial service will be held 11:30am, Monday, November 21, 2022, at Church of the Highlands, Auburn East campus located at 2001 E Samford Ave, Auburn, Alabama. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at the Auburn University Club located at 1650 Yarbrough Farms Blvd, Auburn, AL 36830. Casual attire including orange and blue.

In lieu of customary expressions the family has asked that donations in David’s name be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or if you call the Church of the Highlands your home, please consider a donation in David’s name to the Church of the Highlands Legacy Offering.
