It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deana Louise Moore, 75, of Opelika. She passed away July 24, 2021, at EAMC. A celebration service will be held 3:30pm, Friday July 30, 2021, at the Opelika Sportsplex Adult Activity Center with visitation to follow.
Ms. Moore loved being active at Providence Baptist Church and Opelika Sportsplex Silver Sneakers until her illness set in and kept her from being able to participate on a regular basis. She was a very sweet and social person no matter where she went. She always smiled and was always willing to help others. She loved music, dancing and Elvis, but most importantly she loved Jesus, her family, and her sidekick furr baby “Lady”.
Ms. Moore is survived by her children: Kim Studstill, Wendy Fuller (Wes); grandchildren: Beau Burns, Cody Burns, Megan Fuller, Will Fuller; siblings: Sharon Young (Bob), Linda Bennett, Pat Ford. She was predeceased by her Dad, Mom, and brother.
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Moore would prefer donations to be given to Providence Baptist Church building fund.
Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home is directing.
