Dee Ann Provancher, 66, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, after an eight-month battle with ALS.
Born on July 7, 1959, Dee Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life centered around loving and caring for her family. Her quiet strength and steady presence were a comfort to all who knew her.
She enjoyed watching reality television — especially Big Brother — playing games on her tablet, crocheting, and traveling. She found joy in simple moments and in time spent with those she loved most.
She is survived by her husband, Brian John Provancher; her children, Crystal Alexander (Joseph), Amanda Mack (Terrance), and Jeremy Provancher; her grandchildren, Gavin, Norah, and Olivia; her brothers, Mark (Kelly), Gerald (Ginny), and David Woolard; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmus and Marlene Woolard.
Visitation will be held on March 7, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. CST at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in Opelika. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward at the Alexander family home for food and fellowship.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
