Durward Ronald "Ronnie" Ward Obituary
Durward Ronald Ward (Ronnie), 69, of Cusseta, AL, passed away in his home on March 20, 2024.
Ronnie was born to Durward (DJ) and Grace Ward on December 23, 1954 in Tallassee, AL. He was a police officer in Notasulga, AL for many years. He went on to retire from Auburn University Facilities department. During that time he also worked for Auburn Police Department as a reserve officer.
He is survived by his daughter Manda Ward Toney, son-in-law Burt Toney, granddaughters Ansley Toney and Samantha Toney, and Jasper, his beloved chihuahua. He was predeceased by his parents DJ and Grace.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in Opelika, AL. Visitation will be at 2 pm.
