Dwight David Randall, 74, passed away in hospice care at Bill Nichols Veterans Home where he had resided since July 3, 2024.
Dwight was born in New York to Charles and Dorothy Randall along with his five siblings: Clifford, Ken, Richard, Suzanne, and Geoffrey. Dwight excelled in school and after he graduated joined the United States Air Force at the age of seventeen. Later, Dwight would move to Colorado to begin a career in the United States Postal Service which he would continue in Alabama where he would retire. Dwight was married to his wife, Lisa Randall, for thirty-eight years and together they raised four children: David, Natalie, Heather, and Zane. Dwight and Lisa also have many grandchildren. Dwight loved to write music and sing them on his guitar. But what he loved most was his family. Dwight always enjoyed spending time with the ones that he loved. He could always bring a smile to anyone's face, help you through a hard time, and make sure that they know they are cared about. His true career, his passion, his life’s work: was being an amazing man.
