Glenda Lou (Murphy) Thrash

On Sunday November 24, 2024 Glenda Lou Thrash, loving wife,  mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at the age of 76. 

Glenda was born on July 17, 1948 in Opelika Al to Albert and Lillie Clegg Murphy.

Glenda is preceded in death by both her parents and her granddaughter Natasha Marie Anderson,

Four sisters, Alice Smith (James), Betty Bradford (Jerry), Linda Snyder, Sandra Smith, (Smitty) Five bothers, Earl Murphy (Pearline), Bob Murphy (Margie), Roy Lee Murphy (Betty Ann), Julian Murphy and Robert Murphy. 

She is survived by one daughter and two sons, Ted Thrash (Peggy) of Plantersville, Al, Angie Lunceford (Shane) of Opelika, Al, Don Thrash (Jing) of Opelika Al.

She is survived by her eight grandchildren:, Keith Carroll, Andrew Thrash (Christina), Emily Ousley (Neil), Ivy Thrash, Daniel Thrash, Lance Thrash, Isabella Thrash, Ashley Lunceford (Whitney), Adam Lunceford (Anna) 

She is also survived by three nephew Cleve, Clarence and Larry Murphy who were like brothers to her and she was there sister. 

The Visitation will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024, at 10am., with the funeral to follow at 11:00am at Jeffcoat Funeral Home, Opelika, Al
