Jackson Robert Ward

Jackson Robert Ward, 16, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away October 17, 2024.

Jackson was born June 24, 2008 to parents Kevin and Ashley Ward in Georgia.

Jackson loved his family, his friends, traveling with his family to Disney World and the beach. He loved his Auburn Tiger Football and Basketball. He always had a huge smile and lit up any room he entered. To know him was to love him and he will be greatly missed. He was in 10th grade at Callaway High School.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Doyce Edmonson and grandfather, Ernest “Ernie” William Ward.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Ashley Ward of LaGrange, GA; sister, Abby Ward of LaGrange, GA; grandmother, Mary Ellen Edmonson of Opelika, AL; grandmother, Colleen Ward of Opelika, AL; Aunt and Uncle, Sheila and Jeff Henkey of Vestavia Hills, AL; cousins: Grant Henkey of Atlanta, GA, Madison Maluff (Peter) of New York City, NY, Regan Henkey of Vestavia Hills, AL; aunt, Emily Carpenter of Opelika, AL; and cousins: Seth Carpenter and Zach Carpenter, both of Opelika, AL; aunt, Joanna Whitman of Tuscaloosa, AL; and cousins: Bennett Whitman (Katie-Bay), Barrett Whitman and Serena Redden, all of Opelika, AL.

A Memorial service will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Monday, October 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM CST. Family will visit following the service.
