James Thomas Tyson

James Thomas Tyson Sr. 81, of Tuskegee Alabama (Little Texas) was born May 13th, 1943, and passed away March 8th, 2025, he was preceded in death by his wife, Merry Lee Tyson, of 54 years, and his father Robert T. Tyson, his mother Virgina Tyson, brothers Douglas Alvin Tyson, Henry Lewis Tyson, Robert Caroll Tyson Sr. and is survived by his only sister Cindy Tyson Glass.

He is survived by all five of his children, James Thomas Tyson Jr.   Donna Leigh Waldrep, Melissa Hope Mccullars, Elizabeth Ann Tyson, and Phillip Daniel Tyson, 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, He served for 13 years as a missionary in Alaska with his wife and children. He is now at peace in the hands of the Lord.

A graveside service for Mr. Tyson will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 beginning at 3:00 PM CST located in the Little Texas Cemetery.
