Larcus Spates

Larcus was born in Opelika to the late W.S. and Verbie Spates.  He passed away peacefully on April 25^th at Parkwood Healthcare Center.

Larcus is survived by his wife Judy; brother Sam; three sons Larcus, Mike (Pennie), and Paul (Tori); and special niece Gay Jones whom he thought of as a daughter.  He is also survived by three granddaughters Holly, Heather and Carob and five great-grandchildren Aubrey, Dallas, Josiah, Gracie Mae, and Elijah.

The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Healthcare for their constant attentiveness to Larcus.  We also thank dear friends, Ronnie and Wilma Moncus, Steve and Donna Shiver and Tim Senn.  Their constant support has been invaluable, and we are forever grateful for this special care and friendship.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.  (Phillipians 1:20)

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
