Margaret Heigl Brevard

Margaret Heigl Brevard born in Straubing, Germany, November 27, 1930, died at home March 25, 2023 at the age of 92 after a long illness.  She is survived by her immediate family, her son Gary Brevard and his wife Brenda, her three granddaughters, Clara Kirby, Shannon Brevard and Autumn Brevard all residing in Auburn, Alabama. She was also survived by her sister Lydia Hinterkircher and her brother Max Heigl both residing in Munich, Germany and their extended families.

She came to Auburn, Alabama in 1977 with now deceased husband, Jack Neil Brevard and son. She was the owner of Margie's Place, where Coach Pat Dye, former Mayor Jan Dempsey and Bo Jackson would frequent.  The family requests no flowers to be sent, but in lieu of, a donation in the name of Margaret Brevard to the Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated. https://donate.lovetotherescue.org A memorial visitation will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 1:30-3:30 PM.
