Melba L Sippial

Melba Faye Ledbetter Sippial, daughter of Jean Mims and the late Carl Ledbetter, was born on November 18, 1968 in Lee County, Alabama.  She was surrounded by family and loved ones when she went to be with Jesus on the morning of January 16^th, 2022.

Melba was an Auburn University Alumni, and a lifelong Auburn fan. She was a member of the American Poolplayers Association and the US Professional Poolplayers Association. Her friends in the billiard community were very special to her and were very supportive as she battled cancer over the last year.

What meant the absolute most to Melba, was her family. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Willie John and Faye R. Fincher, and Wilbur Dallas and Melba Ledbetter, and by her father Carl Ledbetter. She is survived by her mother Jean Mims, her son Adam Lee McConnell (Audrey) of Commerce, Georgia, and their children Kelli, Wyatt, Annabelle, Dakota, and Elouise Faye, and her daughter, Summer Joy Sippial of Auburn, Alabama along with Summer’s daughter Kamila Rose and her sister Carla McGhee (Melvin) of Wetumpka, Alabama. She will be missed by her nieces and nephew, half siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant in Opelika, AL on Saturday, January 22^nd, 2022 at 11:00.
