Mickey Delane Hornsby

Mickey Delane Hornsby, 70, of Auburn passed away Monday, November 13, 2023.

Mrs. Hornsby was born July 17, 1953 in Tallassee, AL to parents, Rupert and Audrey Meadows. She worked with the Uniroyal Tire Company for 33 years before she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Hornsby, grandson, Price Hornsby, daughter-in-law, Kristin Watson Hornsby, and parents: Rupert and Audrey Meadows.

Mrs. Hornsby is survived by her sons: Ray Hornsby and Jason Hornsby; grandchildren: Austin, Price, Emerson Ray, and Ella Ann Hornsby; and her siblings: Susan Carlisle and Betty Ann Sloan.

A graveside will be held for family and friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Tallassee, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
