Mr. James Webb Carlisle

Mr. James Webb Carlisle, 79, of Loachapoka, passed away June 23, 2019, at Jackson Hospital. He was born September 5, 1939 in Lee County. Mr. Carlisle was a lifelong resident of the Loachapoka area. He was retired from the US military with 20 years of service. He worked as a computer tech in several local industries.

Mr. Carlisle is survived by his children: LaDonna Mink of Montgomery, Alabama, Synetta Smith (Scott) of Prattville, Alabama; sister: Anne Reece (Larry) of Whitestone, Georgia; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 11:30am until 1:00pm with the funeral service at 1:00pm with Reverend Larry Reece officiating at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial to follow at Loachapoka Cemetery.

The family respectfully declines flowers and suggest memorials be directed to the East Alabama Food Bank, 375 Industry Drive, Auburn, AL 36832.
