Mrs. Wilda Little Obituary

Wilda passed away at East Alabama Medical Center Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from Dementia.

She was born in Elba, Alabama and finished high school at Elba High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie M. Hornsby and Hilda Hornsby.

She is survived by her husband: William B. Little, Jr.; stepsons: William B. (Lori) Little III, Jason P. (Jamie) Little of Atlanta; four grandchildren; sister: Janaria H. Thomas of Panama City Beach, Florida; nephew: Todd McMollough and niece: Donna M. (Morgan) Davis.

After high school she worked at Ft. Rucker for about a year and moved to Auburn where she worked at Auburn University about four years. She then moved to Champion, Illinois where she worked for three year.  Mrs. Little then moved to New York and worked at Columbia University as assistant to the dean for eighteen years.  She then moved back to Alabama in 1984 where she worked at Gayfers and Bell, Hicks, and Coratin Realty in Montgomery until she retired in 2004.

The funeral will be at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and Crematory 1:30pm, Saturday, April 27, 2019 with visitation from 12:00pm until 1:30pm, Reverend Charles Cummings will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Auburn, Alabama.
