Nancy Gail Kincaid

Nancy Gail Kincaid passed away Sunday, June 19th at her home in Auburn, AL. A graveside service for Nancy will be held Saturday, June 25th at 10:00am at Town Creek Cemetery where Pastor Wren Aaron will officiate.

Nancy was born on June 2nd, 1950 to Gerald (Jerry) and Marilyn Hibbard in Phoenix, Arizona. She married Steven Kincaid on June 19th, 1977 where she gained two wonderful children: Amy Chafey and Jeremy Kincaid. Steven and Nancy went on to have two fantastic kids: Cheryl (Cheri) Yauger and Scott Kincaid. After achieving her doctorate degree from University of Tennessee she went on to enjoy teaching anatomy and physiology at Troy State University in Montgomery. She dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and sought to serve as an example of Christ’s love to everyone she encountered. She felt called to embrace and nurture newcomers and those in need at every opportunity. Her passion was the enjoyment and celebration of her family, especially her three grandchildren: Izaak Chafey, Isabella (Izzy B) Yauger, and Jefferson Yauger.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott Kincaid. She is survived by her husband Steven Kincaid, daughters Cheryl Yauger and Amy Chafey, son Jeremy Kincaid, sister Patti Miller, and grandchildren Izaak Chafey, Isabella Yauger, and Jefferson Yauger.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Women’s Hope Medical Clinic, an organization Nancy strongly supported.
