Pamela Gryski was reunited with the love of her life on April 8, 2023. Her beloved husband of 16 years, Gerard (Gerry) Gryski, died in 2016, and Pam spent the years since then talking about how much she was looking forward to seeing him again.
Pam was born April 23, 1953, in Montgomery, Alabama to Eunice and Talmadge Jordan and was the second of two children. She grew up in Montgomery and enjoyed spending time with her family at the gulf on their sailboat. She began her career as a hair stylist and part owner at her mother’s salon. She later became an IT professional working at Auburn University until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, Auburn football, and she was incredibly good at card and board games.
She is survived by one child, Ashley (Adam) Darabaris; one sister, Kathy (Mike) Murphy; two nieces, Jennifer (Shawn) Murphy; Carrie (Doug) Fisher; four great nieces, Anna Grace (Sam) Andress, Abbie Murphy, Lucy Fisher, Annie Fisher; and two great nephews, Cooper Fisher and Jack Fisher. She was a beloved Honey to two grandchildren, Quinn and Maren.
Please join us in celebrating her life Tuesday, April 18 at 11:30 am in the sanctuary at Auburn First Baptist Church, 128 East Glenn Avenue, Auburn, Alabama, 36830. Memorial contributions may be made to Lee County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
