Peter "P.J" Jonathon Smith

Peter Jonathan (PJ) Smith was taken away suddenly on January 28, 2021. From a young age he had a love for the outdoors. From “hunting bugs” to hanging hammocks high in the trees, he loved being outdoors and being part of nature.  He had an infectious smile (smirk) that lit up a room.  He worked hard, played harder and was the best friend, son, brother, grandson he could be. PJ lived life to the fullest. The stories of his life are so many but still too few.

He is survived by his parents Margaret (Masley) and John P. Smith, Jr, sister Brenna, grandmother Geraldine Masley, uncles Jeff and Billy Masley Aunts Cyndy Morris and Chris Luck, the love of his life Mattie Slocum, best friends Peyton Anderson, Bradley Richardson, Tathum Dees, and many cousins and friends.

He was greeted in heaven by his best friend and fellow mischief-maker Craig A. Hensarling, his grandparents John and Nancy Smith and Metro Masley, Jr., and great aunts and uncles.
