Phyllis June Nance Stahle of Auburn, Alabama, affectionately known as Gram, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 21, 2020. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on June 26, 1933.
She is survived by her loving family, son-in-law, Ken Gruver, granddaughters, Sloan and Jillian Gruver, all of Auburn, niece, Sandy Dill of Olathe, Kansas, Rhoda Stahle of Pueblo West, Colorado and lifelong friend, Loyce Bares of Birmingham along with numerous other dear family and precious friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo Stahle, daughter, Marliss Stahle Gruver and her much loved miniature dachshund, Kinker, and her parents who were all present with Jesus to welcome her to Heaven.
Phyllis was a member of the Church of the Highlands at the Auburn East Campus. She was also a 50 year member of Sweet Adelines and spent many wonderful years traveling with her “sisters” singing all over the country. Phyllis taught Kindergarten at one point and owned a dress store.
Phyllis was an accomplished seamstress and knitter. She loved knitting and could make just about anything and she did.
