Mr. Robert was born in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Throughout his life he was known as Yankee Bob.

He was a U.S. Naval Veteran. He retired from Uniroyal.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn. Three sons: Richard Curtin, Robert Curtin, Roger Curtin (Wayna Curtin). Three Step-Children, Melanie Hill, Rebecca Dasher (Larry), Roy Sosebee (Julie).  He had 8 grandchildren, and 4 Great Children.

He loved to garden and had a large collection of Indian Memorabilia paying homage to the American Indian Nation.  He was an Auburn fan, but his favorite sport was basketball, and supported and enjoyed watching any team that played in the Big East.  His favorite song was Tulsa Time and no matter where he heard it playing, he would dance to it.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Curtin. Mother-Mary Curtin and his first wife Betty Curtin.

The family wishes to thank EAMC Ambulance Team, Opelika Police Department and Opelika Fire Department for there Outstanding First Responders who diligently assisted our family. We would also thank all our family and friends for their love and support during this time.
