Funeral service for Robert William Waldrep of Opelika is 2pm, Wednesday, January 20th at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12pm prior to the service, Reverend Henry Dawson officiating, burial is in Garden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Waldrep, who died Saturday January 16, 2021 at EAMC, was born June 15, 1962 in Lawrence County in Moulton, Alabama.
Mr. Waldrep was an upstanding member of the community and well known by many. He was an automotive mechanic for over 30 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He is predeceased by his wife of 34 years Lynn Waldrep and son Robert. He is survived by his daughters Mandy (Jeremy) Prince and Samantha (Ben) Rosario. Son Adam (Hannah) Golden. Sisters Martha J. Walker, Diane McKinstry, Stella (John) Liles, Mary Jane (Thurman) Smith, Sandra (Darryl) Edwards, Margaret Ann (Danny) McKinstry, Melanie (Ricky) Faust. Brothers Andrew (Linda) Waldrep, Steven (Connie) Waldrep, Don (Donna) Waldrep, John (Brandy) Waldrep. Grandchildren Aubrie, Jacob, Sarah, and William. And an extended amount of nieces and nephews.
