Tara "Renee" Hickman Harris

Tara Renee Hickman Harris, age 36, of Auburn Alabama, passed away in a tragic accident on October 26, 2023. Renee was born on March 7th, 1987 in Opelika, Alabama.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children: Bryce and Cheyenne Harris. Her father, Jackie (Norma) Hickman and mother, Kim Baugh. Four sisters: Nicole (Joe) Humphrey; Heather (Paul) Bridge; Jenny (Rocco) Bobe; Emily Hickman (Chris Bryan). She also had several nieces and nephews: Hope and Faith Humphrey; Gabriel and Cameron Bridge; Cecilia and Celeste Bobe; Heidi-Ann Hickman; Kaycen Barnes; Adam, Ethan, Jamison, Raleigh, Harley, Riley, and Conner Bryan. She also had many loving Aunts/Uncles and cousins.

Predeceasing her are her grandparents: Albert and Fannie Lou Hickman; Lula (Buford) Jenkins and Joe Minton.

Her life true passions were her children: Bryce and Cheyenne Harris, her family, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing Phase 10, shopping, swimming, going to the ocean and turtles.

Renee would go out of her way to help family and friends. She would run errands for her family, watch her nieces and nephews, and take care of her co-workers in any way she could. But don’t ask her to catch a frog because she was terrified!

The times spent together will always be held dear in the hearts of all that loved her.

A memorial service will be held on November 1st, 2023, beginning at 5:00 PM CST in the Chapel at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow the next day, Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 beginning at 3:00 PM in Little Texas.
