William Watkins Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of William (Billy) Watkins announce his passing on June 22,2021 at the age of 67, after a very brave battle with cancer.

Billy will be remembered by his wife, Pudden Thomas Watkins, a daughter and 2 grandchildren, Delayna and Gaines Tapley as well as numerous family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father, William (Bill) Watkins, mother, Winnie Franklin Logan, sister, Mary Lumpkin, brother, Merrill Jackson (Bub) Watkins, and a granddaughter, Destiny Tapley.

Aside from being the best mechanic ever, Billy was thoughtful, kind and tough as nails.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Compassus. At Billy’s request, no service will be held. He did ask that his friends drink a beer for him.
