Nancy and Family,
I have long admired Albert. He has been, through the years, one of my Opelika HEROES for all of his efforts and support when I was working with the City of Opelika and put on the Memorial Day and Veterans Day services. He never failed to check in with me to see if there was anything he could do to help me with the planning of those events. His constant encouragement and willingness to help meant more to me than words could ever express!

And, the fact that he was on the Veterans Memorial Monument Committee which was responsible for getting that beautiful monument built, just adds to my admiration of him!

I will miss seeing him at church; but knowing that he is my brother in Christ brings me the joy of knowing we’ll be seeing each other again! In the meantime, Nancy and family, Guy nd I will be praying that God brings you comfort in these days of sorrow. And please- if there is anything we can do for you in these coming days, please do not hesitate to ask! All our love to the Killian family!

My most heartfelt sympathy for Nancy and the Children. No one has influenced my life more than Big AL. I have never worked for or with anyone who I admired and loved more than AL. I will miss Him but will never forget Him,.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Coach. He taught me at Opelika High School and at the Alabama Military Academy. He was a tough teacher but I respected I'm as both a teacher and a soldier.

My parents thought so highly of Col. Killian. Just before his own death the end of October, Daddy and I sat talking about the people in his life that he admired. It was not surprising that Albert Killian was at the top of that list. So thankful for his honor and integrity. love for God and country, and willingness to help where ever needed. Blessings to all of you as you adjust to this adjusted normal.
